Damn, I don't think I can leave the decentralization/privacy room, too many interesting talks

@imacrea @aral @eliotberriot@mastodon.eliotberriot.com @Framasoft @dada @pierreozoux Hey, I'll be at FOSDEM and I have plans to start working a lot with Solid on the following months :)

I just finished rewriting my site about Autonomous Data, which is the application architecture I'll be working with for a while. From now on I'll focus on actually shipping some! noeldemartin.github.io/autonom

Next week I'll be at , anyone going? I'm still pondering which talks to attend. One I'll visit for sure is the one about Solid! fosdem.org/2019/schedule/event

Yesterday I was working on migrating my website to Docker, and I decided to use a Docker nginx container as reverse proxy. Instead of using some tool to automate the process I just wrote a couple of bash scripts to have more control. Check them out if you are interested in learning about it: github.com/noeldemartin/nginx-

@dajbelshaw Did you end up making a cake? Cooking seems intimidating but it isn't so bad if you manage your expectations, I usually aim for "edible" and I accomplish it most of the time 😂

@dajbelshaw I don't know if I'm still on time, but Happy Birthday to your daughter :D

git only tracks the executable part of file permissions, so nothing about users or write/read permissions.

I'm watching a Japanese TV program where they visit Eiichiro Oda's home (the author of the manga One Piece). They've just shown that he has an Alexa 😱 That means Amazon could be listening in on the secrets of One Piece!!

I started reading "Los tónicos de la voluntad" by Santiago Ramón y Cajal. It has been sitting on my shelf for a long time, so it's about time :).

I recently finished reading Musashi. Awesome book. I enjoyed it so much that I've decided to write a blog post telling you what I learned. It's spoiler-free, so check it out: noeldemartin.com/blog/lessons-

Today I completed lesson 10 of Seth Godin's The Bootstrapper's Workshop. It's been great and I've learned a lot. If you are interested to see my progress read it here: noeldemartin.com/tasks/taking-

@devurandom@cybre.space I agree 100%, and something like can achieve that :) The thing is of course how many will adopt it.
