hey @dajb - I'm getting weird behaviour if I look at your @thoughtshrapnel RSS feed - if I subscribe in FreshRSS or visit it in-browser I get an outdated snapshot from June. if I access via curl or Aperture feed reader I get new articles. Am I using it wrong? Pastebin of the feed content if I go via browser: https://privatebin.net/?7261083dc0a23738#6jYXp7y4QSZn7UU23kpt1HmRSJckuW5Dq9NZiJY4MDdR
@dajb @thoughtshrapnel I really enjoy the serendipitous and random stuff you post about in thought shrapnel and I'm migrating /to/ freshrss so I'd love to somehow get this working there
@jamesravey @thoughtshrapnel Hmmm... so @noeldemartin is reporting something similar - but every time I go to https://thoughtshrapnel.com/feed/ the latest article appears!
I wonder if it's a caching thing? (I installed WP Super Cache a few months ago because the site would go down every time multiple Fediverse instance hit it at the same time!)
Also thanks for sharing that you enjoy the posts 🙂
@dajb @thoughtshrapnel @noeldemartin very weird! I can re-create it across different browsers and in "private browsing" too - I guess I'll have to visit the site periodically to get the updates or get the email newsletter 😉
@dajb @jamesravey @thoughtshrapnel I see, that's very weird indeed :/ I didn't notice it was working with curl, I thought it was outdated everywhere.
What I can say is that it must be some cache in the server side, because even clearing the cache completely or using a different browser altogether I still get the outdated version. But using curl I do get the new one.
Maybe it has something to do with that plugin? No idea.
@noeldemartin @jamesravey @thoughtshrapnel It's very odd
