I've been writing some Rust recently, and it's just been so much... Fun!
I can't quite put my finger on the why, but so far it seems to strike all the right chords for me.
@vinnl Are you using it for the web? If so, it'd be nice to hear about your motivations and experience with it :D I've been hearing about it but haven't really found a reason to use it myself - instead of javascript.
@noeldemartin No, that was exactly my problem: I've been excited about Rust for a long time, but didn't really have a project for it that I wouldn't be able to complete more easily in JS.
I'm using it for Advent of Code now. I was also thinking about getting a @PINE64 PineTime, as that seems like a good use case for toying with Rust.
(That said, once I'm more fluent with it, I'm sure I'll look into using it for the web as well.)
